Does YW-CC062 car rear view camera still work
perfectly facing the bad weather?
YW-CC062 lens is one of the powerful car rear view lens launched by Forsafe. Since debut in 2011, it has obtained great attention and compliments from the market for its elegant appearance and excellent performance, especially after won the MEI awards recently.
Today, I took YW-CC062 for testing and see how it performs in high and low temperature.
Testing conditions: simulated high and low temperature testing box, high temperature 70 degree, 2 hours; low temperature -30degree, 1 hour. (The manufacturer’s declared range is -20 to 60degree).
Lens parameters: size 86*57*53mm, weight:0.52KGS, sensor: 10m, resolution: AHD720P. YW-CC062 CPU sharpCCD, excellent image, with infrared LED, clear night vision effect, waterproof level reaches IP69. The anti-collision and shockproof zinc alloy shell is sturdy and durable, improves the quality to higher level by its advantage of anti thermal expansion and contraction.
Testing preparation: first connected the lens, checked the power-on condition, and set the temperature of the testing box at -30degree, which simulates the user’s lowest temperature condition. For observing easily, we put a glass of water beside the camera YW-CC062 in the testing box. After 1 hour, the temperature displayed -28degree. The water has formed ice early, and out of the lens was frosting. The camera is working well! (The frosting effect is caused by the temperature difference between the inside and the outside of the testing box. There is no temperature difference in the actual working condition, and no frosting on the lens then). Set the temperature of the testing box to 70degree and checked again after two hours.
The camera still works well!
Testing results: When the temperature reaches 60-70degrees, the lens works normally. When the temperature drops to minus 28degrees, the lens still works normally when removed the frost on the lens glass. So the camera runs well and basically simulates daily high and low temperature conditions. The indoor temperature was about 25degrees during test.
Actual testing results show that this lens performs well and stable in extreme days (high temperature 71, low temperature -28)! There is no over-exposure or flickering. It is trustworthy the testing results exceed the data announced by the manufacturer. Although there is no amazing effect to break the limit, it is still a rare level. Trust me: the more you use it, the more you like it. Whether in hot summer or snowy winter, the great performance of YW-CC062 ensures the travelling fans enjoy their drivings.
If you like to go out and drive, don’t miss this car rear-view camera system that performs perfectly at any conditions.
